Is it possible to purchase a rebuild kit for a 5 speed dccd gearbox out of a ver 3 ra impreza?
Its mainly a full set of baulk rings needed but maybe another couple of bits could be wanted when the box is opened.

We can probably help with that once you know what you need.

The baulk rings on 2nd and 3rd should be double cone type which translates as expensive. The single cone type on the other 3 gears are a lot cheaper. usually it is not necessary to change the double cone ones as they seem very robust.

But if you have clicking synchro then they'll be knackered.

What you need to look out for is damage on the corresponding synchro teeth on the gears and hubs. If they are bad then they'll need changing, as just fitting new rings won't make up for ruined other parts and the old parts will damage the new parts very quickly.

Also look at the little 'nylon' anti buzz fittings on the ends of the forks where they fit into the synchro hubs they are usually worn out too.
