classic gearbox difference RA

Hi guys,

whats the difference between the V1 RA box - TY752VB3BA

and the 94 RA box - TY752VB3DA

I know they carry the same ratios, but was there no change in syncro or anything. Why bother changing the code otherwise?

The last 4 digits are just a detailed specification. Used when ordering parts in the subaru parts catalog.

I beg to differ.

The 3DA has double cone synchro ring fitted to the 2nd gear.
