Default Speed Sensor help needed

Hi, I am new here. I am changing my transmission and the new one does not have a speed sensor hook up. I am sure many have been doing what I
am so, how is this resolved? Is there another place I can attach my speed sensor? Any help is really appreciated.

There's something called a VSS pro made by an American company that uses the ABS sensors to generate a speed signal. (Subaru do this themselves on later Imprezas)

I read one review suggesting it was quite sensitive to picking up noise though.

Yes that's the one.

Some users experience of it here:

You're probably better off asking on NASIOC as it's an uncommon mod in the UK.

Thanks. I got an e-mail from them saying they have added shielding to address the noise issue and
if instructions are properly followed it works pretty well. I will give it a try as I don't hear any other solutions but will consult with guys on nasioc. Thanks again!

Thought I post this for others who might have the same question. I got the vsspro
unit yesterday. Installation was relatively easy I'd say. The tricky connection is the shielded wire to the sensor. Unshielded part has to be kept short and the shield can't touch body. Power also has to come from an unused circuit. At first the FL wheel ABS sensor was not responding so I was getting crazy readings. Contacted dccdpro and they suggested to switch to another wheel. I switched to FR sensor and it started working right away. Did calibration and it is now reading very close to what GPS reports. :-)
Thanks again to mauricegb for guiding me the right way.
