Could somebody help me to find information about 2 litre turbo engine with 9,7:1 compression ratio?
Is it realy exist? And if it what boost it can hold. And why Subaru made this engine?
I asking because some person said to me that only 8:1 Turbo Imprezas GT exists.

9.7:1 ? Strewth.. maybe the WRC engines are, AFAIK all impreza turbo engines are 8:1 ( maybe 22b is different? )
9.7:1 is exceedingly high.. AFAIK WRC engines run between 9:1 - 10:1 to give driveability and low down torque. Evo engines are about 8.8:1 I believe.

You sure that's not a normally-aspirated Scoob engine at 9.7:1?

Must be a mistake. The Catalunya and Terzo were standard Scoobs with a different trim spec.
