Question

I've already swapped my AE802 for an 801 without any Immobiliser problems however I am about to change again, this time to a PPP ECU.
Do I need to get my keys "reprogrammed" or whatever when I change ECUs? As I said above, I've had no problems with the 802/801 changeover but I seem to remember something on here once about reprogramming keys with a PPP......

Any ideas?

I think it needs one key to be in his position during the ECU change but not sure!

No it is OK change it however you want - best turn engine off first though and have ignition off

Odd, cos when my MY99 went to Prodrive to be done I had to give them both sets of keys for reprogramming. Was that b/s then?

They ask for them as routine as some earlier model years require them. You can swap ECUs between MY99/00 at will - immobiliser hardware off ECU.
