DCCD not sending power to front wheels???
Alright
Car is a 2005 STI, engine just been changed to a 2.5 CDB, anyways car is on the dyno and is only getting 25% of power distributed to the front wheels regardless of where the thumb wheel is set (open or lock) according to the dyno readout. I am told the DCCD lights are on and move when the thumb wheel is moved.
I haven't seen the car yet as I am just back home after two weeks away at work.
Before the car went in for the engine everything seemed to work fine, in Auto it would understeer, in open it would be very tail happy. My normal driving position for the diff was 3 notches forward of open as that is where the car was most balanced. Car was running approx 500bhp before the engine swap.
Mapper is reluctant to map the car on the dyno for fear of damaging the car
I am going to go collect the car tomorrow, I plan on driving the car slowly in a circle and slowly roll the DCCD up towards lock to see for myself if anything is happening.
Anyone have any ideas?
Graeme
