Or info on any single system full de-cat, i got to say iam worried on having this done. I am 31 and bought the scooby to calm down a bit, had a cossie b4. Subaru is only 3 years old and only 22k miles so want it to last.

If the exhaust is too loud it may irritate my dog who lives in back ( wagon). I dont want an irritated Rottweiler on my hands!!!!!

Cheers

If you want it quiet get a resonated centre section and choose the backbox carefully - Prodrive, Remus known for being quiet (and possibly restrictive), Scoobysport can quieten an exhaust down for you I believe.

They have assured me it is not too loud and is their best selling exhuast.

Rottie, if I remember correctly they are good quality copies of the Haywood and Scott exhausts (with a minor difference ) Full Stainless and good quality kit... you will find it is 2.5inch system (maybe wrong) Don't know the Back box the offer... sorry...

Hope this helps

The scoobysport system *is* manufactured by Hayward and Scott. If you phone H&S they will tell you to buy from Scoobysport. And yes Scoobysport do a quiet(er) backbox, I don't know how quiet it is yet, 'cause they are not the standard part, I have to wait 2 weeks for my Legacy one.

The price was the same.

Thumbs up

I'd stick my neck out and say that any decat exhaust will be far better than std. There also won't be that much difference in power between brands (difference that you would feel on the road anyway).

The most important thing as far as you are concerned is the noise. taking out the DP cat and centre cat will make little overall noise difference (apart from a slight turbo whistle). The back box is the most critical component for you to choose.

I don't know about the Lister system but I'd say thta if they could add the quiet scoobysport BB then go for that as the difference in power would be unnoticeable.

All IMHO of course
