My problem was - While booting it, going into 2nd ,3rd and fourth, i could't get the car to take up drive smoothly and i was suffering what can only be described as a "jerk". Now i thought this was my own inability to drive the thing quicky. My "jerk" has now disappeared, and it isn't due to a sudden improvement in my driving. So whats done the trick?????? The only thing which has changed recently is my use of Super unleaded (now onto my 4th tank)
Can the fuel change really be the problem solver, or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Wink

You're driving around the problem like everyone else who has a scooby.

has it just been serviced? If so they could have put too much oil in which overflows into some solenoid i think... Anyway, it just needs cleaning with brake fluid and should be sorted, oh and check the oil level isn't too high.

The reason for the jerking is overboost i think when the solenoid gets stuck.

see the FAQ, i think that it describes it a bit better in there.

Just like to add, that it might be wiser to use brake cleaner rather than fluid???
