5x114 Hubs onto Type R

Anybody convert a GC8 to Hawkeye hubs, or will the shocks and wishbones be way off? Only asking as trying to widen my choice of wheels, or will try spacers/adaptors.

Holes to the strut are different and the width of the hub into the strut is 6 mm wider
