Possibly be needing a clutch soon also, I'm getting a slight over rev from 3k to 4k with hard accel, then settles down fine.......maybe a slight bit of clutch slip?

Your link above, may I ask whats the difference between "Blue Box" and "Pink Box".

Car is same as nyscooby, 2005 Impreza STI, upgraded to 330bhp.

Certainly, the blue box on the link is an OEM replacement clutch kit, the pink box one on the link is a uprated Racing version.

For 330bhp I would recommend the pink box version.

From what you have described it certainly sounds like clutch slip. The longer you leave it slipping the more it will damage the flywheel and necessitate the need to skim or replace.

Feel free to give us a call.

Thank-you for the info.
Are there any offers on at the moment for just clutch or with flywheel?
Not sure if flywheel is worth doing same time, its a fair bit more money?

A lightweight flywheel will reduce the rotational mass resulting in a quicker throttle response and improved acceleration. Well worth doing.

It also saves having to mess about with the old flywheel, having it skimmed, waiting for the machine shop etc etc. Old flywheels sell for about £50-80 which you can of course offset against the price of a new one.

Web prices are pretty stripped back, but give us a call and we'll always try and do something for you
