just want to know if anyone know's what they are like. I have been told after i've got it that they are crap and give a lot of problems... i.e poor idling and stalling on junctions or when you stop. I would prefer a HKS or baileys as he suggested but is he just telling me this to get more in his pocket?

A dumb valve? Is that to reduce pressure in your head while your thinking really hard?

You'll find the car stalls and you'll probably find it will give you a bit of backfiring. After a while it should settle down and it shouldnt stall anymore. Mine never did stall but the guy that installed it warned me about it before i got it done and said it will be fine, just expect that it may happen especially when u pull up at lights (i.e. the car is in neutral or the clutch is in) and that it would be more likely to occur if you have been flogging it and then go to stop.
