Question

To this day I still have my doubts on whether I know the numbering of each one. Is no. 3 the back passenger side (on right hand drive cars of course) or the back one near the turbo?

What's the number of the rest.

Also, which ones fire together?

Regards

Johny.

As you are facing the engine standing infront of the bonnet,
1 is near left,
2 near right,
3 far left (by turbo),
4 far right.

I could be wrong!

correct, No3 is closest to turbo, with no 2 closest to battery. As described standing facing engine,

3 4
1 2

front

I assume that means the order they are on the crankshaft is 1-2-3-4 (front to back)? What's the firing order -- standard 1-3-4-2 (i.e. is it just like an in-line four-pot split into two?)
