Help Required Please!!! Rear Diff
I am currently trying to replace the oil in my rear diff on my hawkeye wrx and i cannot budge the filler plug on the diff... does it have any special threads ie left handed or is it a case of keep trying it will eventually come undone?
Also how do you guys fill up the diff as it looks very awkward to get a funnel or even an oil can to it?
Please help
Thanks

If you have a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar use that - it will do the job just fine. Make sure you undo the filler plug before you do the drain one
For refilling I used a turkey baster but this was messy and time consuming. I would recommend getting the largest syringe you can lay your hands on, it will make the job a doddle then

whoops didn't read all the posts, looks like petethemeat has been there too
a very good way is to use the pressurised brake fluid bleeder from Halfords only a few quid -- similar to below
but fill the bottle with Diff oil
