Hi all hoping someone can help me with this! Over the past few months I have started to get this really annoying knocking noise coming from the rear off the car. It is most noticeable when you jolt the car forward or back or when driving at low speeds and you let off the throttle. I had the car looked at and it sounds like the noise is coming from the front of the rear diff? I'm hoping someone has come across this before as I'm about to sell the car.

 

What year of car mate as the Newage are renowned for knocking rear shocks

It's an 04 Sti, I have replaced the rear shocks earlier in the year. No I'm not from Rugby.
