Jesus, I have just brought my car back from Power Engineering, where amongst other things, I had my Blitz Nur Spec R system back on and a 3" all the way through Scoobysport Downpipe fitted.
I thought that the Nur spec with standard Scoobysport downpipe from my old Scoob was loud, but boy was I wrong! .
I haven't come across any scoobs louder than this old girl now, but that really isn't a good thing!
For anyone considering a Nur Spec R and Scoobysport Downpipe, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT order the 3" version, get the one with the normal 2.5" taper at the end. Trust me, unless you like things that horrendously loud!
In my 'limited' experience with these things, I believe that it is also beneficial to have the taper there too, as it at least provides a little bit of backpressure, which helps to stop the turbo spinning up too quickly and potentially overboosting. I am renowned for spouting complete cod though
Anyway, just thought that I would share that with you nice folk. Won't be replying, as I am jetting off to Aus and Japan this afternoon
Cheers,
Nick
