Just wondering which gearbox fluid is best for my 5 speed uk300 box.

i have a little stiff changeing sometimes when cold and was advised that motul 300 is a good oil to help this?

so my 3 options are.

motul gear 300
millers crx
motulMOTULGEAR

ALL 75W 90.

Any help or experiences would be great guys.

Impreza gearboxes are generally stiff when cold that's how they are. If it's stiff when warm then it's an issue. No oil will reduce cold stiffness. I have used Millers CRX in all my Imprezas and found it to be excellent, especially now it has nano technology. This is friction modifiers which aid lubrication.

 

Always use millers aswell just waiting for it to arrive tommorow
