Right guys iv started to get a bit of a problem with 4th gear in my 51 uk300.

The problem only starts after around 15-20 mins of driving and only going in to 4th gear.

Its not a crunch or grinding sound but more like a loud mechanical click???
the higher the revs the louder the sound,but if you leave the clutch down for around 3-4 secs when going in to gear it dosnt happen.

its not getting any worse,so any help or ideas would be much appriciated guys,

Sounds like the synchro is starting to wear.

id advise changing the transmission oil,as above it sounds like a syncromesh issue,probably worth contacting oilman,

thanks classicgc8 sounds identical to my issue so ill be doin the the gearbox oil change next weekend along with all other fluids.
