Default Neutral Position Sensor

Apart from CELs at higher speeds in 4th and 5th, what benefits will I see from replacing my NPS? My current one is goosed, picked up by Duncan during my remap.

I already have a new one coming, just interested to see how much impact it has on the car.

It has no performance issues then

It can play havoc with AVCS (turns it off) if fitted....but for lowly non-AVCS like me it's more of an irritation LOL

PS how did you know I was named after a writer of western novels

Still, best to change the knackered one out. It won't hurt, and most importantly wont annoy Duncan when he does any map tweaks!

How much is a new one, and where from (03 STi with AVCS), as Pat said mine is on it's way out too, and when using launch control, it sometimes overshoots the revs as it doesn't work properly.
