Default fitting an lsd

bit the bullet tonight and pulled the gearbox apart, not done a gearboxbefore so was a bit worried by it all.

Came apart surprisingly easy, both layshafts have to come out so the olddiff can be removed, again not to spooky. The gearbox was rebuilt not to longago so i want to use the old taper bearings so small tyre leavers to get themof the old diff are the plan for tomorrow, any tips anyone one?

the gearbox stub axels are held in with circlips you can get at them on theopen diff but the lsd is all closed so that looks like a strip down to gainaccess. Job for this weekend.

need to track down oil seals, the one for the input shaft looks like anissue

i've loads of photos of the stip down if anyone's interested

cheers
