I'd bite the bullet and just go for the Ap racing Clutch.

Not sure why someone is quoting you plus VAT? Prices to retail customers should be including VAT so that prices are clear, not plus VAT.

Exedy are one of the largest clutch manufacturers in the world and their current range work superbly.

Some places say they take a Exedy clutch and remanufacture/reline the friction plate by some workshop in the UK (and then charge more for it). There may have been a market for it some years ago when the Exedy Racing clutches used to judder, but Exedy adapted their range to the current "anti-judder" range which work very nicely.

I would always choose a genuine Exedy clutch kit, no question.

£72 on a flywheel skim which will give no gains or £249 on a new lightweight forged flywheel that will give you gains and you can sell your OEM flywheel (approx £50) to offset the cost.

Be very careful of Chinese copies being sold all over the interweb and on Ebay. They will judder and play up in no time at all.

APi Exedy clutches are genuine and do not Judder. Do not confuse them with other cheaper products just because the price seems attractive. Information and service count highly too.

We supply and fit. Many others are just ' front room ' operations that have no technical back up should you ever need it.

Very true re cheap copies, but that's not to say you need to pay through the nose for genuine items.

Our stock comes directly from Exedy UK and the current range of Exedy clutches that we supply are anti-judder.

Buying from a mail order specialist will almost always be cheaper than paying a premium from a garage.

All prices quoted to retail customers should be quoted including VAT.
