Has anyone performed a secondary coil test on their coil packs, or maybe someone could do it on their 'New' ones.

As I can't seem to get anywhere near this value......

The Primary coil measures 1.0 ohm (spec is 0.7 ohms), but the leads to the multimeter are 0.4 ohms so are about right.

For the Secondary coil test illustrated above I can't get a reading at all (it's at least >20Mohm)

I did this test with a friend a couple of weeks ago. We had quitea few of the blighters. The resistance test doesn't seem to work but in the service manual there is another test using an ammeter to check current flow. Can't remember what it was supposed to be though. Try to email dfullerton@screaming.net - he has the manuals.
