Gearbox/diff questions
I'm in the process of having a 6 speed conversion on my 2002 WRX, and have come across a few oddities!
The OE 5 speed gearbox code was TY754VN2AA - which is listed as a US box with 3.9 final drive however it is an EU/UK car?
The replacement box is a JDM 6 speed code TY856WB4KA which cam with a matching rear diff (3.9)
Here are the oddities!
APi confirmed that my box was a UK box therefore 3.354 ratio (due to drop gear I believe) so I had to use the supplied rear diff, this caused a further issue with the rear shafts not fitting as my rear diff was LSD and the supplied was a helical so needed different shafts, is the helical rear diff vastly inferior to the LSD?
My replacement box is listed on all the websites as a JDM box with DCCD however we cannot find the DCCD wiring plug? Also the person I bought it from also said it was not DCCD? Any ideas what might be going on?

Cheers David - Thanks for sorting the Drive shafts for me!
Box is an odd one as the code (based on the online transmission charts) says it's a DCCD box but the point where the garage would expect the see the DCCD socket only has a blanking plug in it with no wiring, is this common?
