hell fellow internets ime a guy with a buggerd RA gear box for my 93 wrx ra
i need to know the difference between the gear boxes just by loking at them
there is a lot of gear boxes over hear for sale
want to make sure i get a nice ra box thanks

 

hi there fella, you need to get the transmission code off the side of the bellhousing. this is matched to your rear diff. Other boxes will fit but you may have to replace rear diff if ratio is different. Google 'subaru SPDA transmission chart' this may help
