Default Front diff leaking gear oil

Hi guys hope you can help or point me in the wright directoin, i live near edinburgh in scotland.

I have a 95 model impreza wrx and have noticed that i have an oil leak, so i put the car on a ramp and noticed that it was leakin from each side of the diff and there is little play and this is normal (i think) but when i grab the shaft and move i can see thats where the oil comes from.
Are these comon and do i have to strip my gearbox or can this job be done by removing the both drive shafts and is the bairin ok.

Hope to haer soon cheers guys

you dont need to strip the box to change the seals but if the diff bearings are worn this could have caused the seals to leak

The seals are about 5 quid each, but beware they are handed. An easy job to do TBH.
