New Gearbox
Well, following on from my previous thread about an issue I was having it turns out I need a new gearbox.
This is where I need some advice. What is everyones recommendations on what I should be looking at? Do i opt for a newer 6spd or do I stick to the standard 5spd? Where should I start looking for them?
Hope you can help. Im desperate to get this thing back on the road. I miss driving!
Cheers, Ian

It depends on what power your car is pushing out, if it's say 350/350 then a 6 speed or if it's say 250/250 i would stick with a 5 speed but get it rebuilt rather than buy a 2nd hand one that could do the same thing as your last one

if you have broke a 5 speed, then if you fit another 5 speed, there is a good chance this will happen again.
6 speeds are so so strong, if you broke one of them, i think you get a medal.
