center viscous diff
hi,
during this very snowy winter i used my car, like so many of us, to drive to work.
like past years my car is running with UHP tyres so no as grippy as winter tyres but with 4wd i can go anywhere.
so this winter i did the same, but oh my surprise, i couldn't go more than 20kph (12mph)!!! because le back was swinging!!
my car never behavied like this, car such rwd were passing me lot quicker!!!
i was gutted!
on friday i checked my tyres, the rear ones are nearly slicks, and front ones pretty new what happened??? i tought something about geometry...but i called my mechanic and he said that that wasn't the geometry but pretty sure the center diff who was used and didn't do a got f/r torque split, and car is behaving like an 2wd and an half!!
is it right?
if yes, where can i buy one for a v3 sti 1997?
thanks all guys.
Daniel
