06 sti rear diff on 02 sti is it a direct replacement?

As title really, would a uk 06 sti diff be a straight swap on my 02 sti uk both have same ratio (3.545)???

Well I have the diff now and it measures the same looks the same and is the same ratio so cant see why it wouldnt fit.... Find out monday I guess.
