I had big problems with the rubber seals being faulty on two of the forge items. In the end i went up there and changed springs to the harder spring (yellow i think). The car flew, but the dump sound was less apparent. In the end, after failure of yet another one, i plumped for a bailey and its fine not such a good sound, but no idling/stalling problems as with the forge unit

Question

I've just fitted a forge dump valve to my MY99 turbo
its the one that replaces the standard item, but vents to atmos. The return pipe is then blocked off wit a chrome bung.

My boost dosen't seem to be as high as it did with the original dv.
it was peaking at about 15psi and dropping to 14ish.
But, with the new forge dump valve it seems to have dropped 1 psi and peaks at 14psi and drops to 13.

has anybody else had this happen ?
is there a cure ?

thanks
kevin
