I'm planning to change the downpipe on my '93 WRX, and have been offered a 2nd hand Power Engineering dp for a reasonable sum.

However, the thought has just occured that there may be differences in down pipes due to the different turbos on different cars.

Is this the case, and if so, how would I go about making sure that I got a compatible dp??
