Where can I get hold of M14x2 tap cheap from ?
I have tried B&Q , Halfo*ds...<-----desperate now!!!!

You'd need a specialist tool shop for that. Look in the yellow pages.
You'll probably not find one cheap though. A tool specialist will only do high quality ones- expect to pay £10-15

Screwfix don't do them, only sets, and only carbon steel, which are rubbish.
As stated earlier, look in your Yellow Pages for specialist tool suppliers. Birmingham being the heart of metal bashing country won't be a problem
