I'm considering the fact I may have to be changing either or both of these in the near future.

Does anyone have any recommendations, or even better links or phone numbers to alternatives to the standard Subaru item? Including costs, if applicable please?

Also - any good pointers as to who could fit the said items well, preferably within 50 miles of Leeds.

A speedy response would be appreciated, to stop this thread disappearing forever in this fast-paced forum

Many thanks in advance.

Whats your car?

Had a JUN unit on my previous rex, a MY00 GC8. 5-odd KGs. Made the engine very nice and responsive to throttle inputs. Put in an AP heavy duty clutch at the same time.

You'll take couple of days to get used to it, but its well worth it. I would do this before things like increasing boost etc.

I'd recommend the AP organic clutch. Clutch pedal feel is much the same although the bite is a bit sharper. Got mine from Woodford Garage 01803 863958, about £360 for the plate and cover if I remember rightly.

Can't recommend anyone in your area for fitting though mate.
My original flywheel was fine so can't recommend on that one either I'm afraid.
