driveshaft wobble
Hi all,
Ive been hearing a wurring noise between 30-40mph from my 93 wrx latley.
So ive taken it to a garge today and they put it on a four post ramp and listened to the bearings with a mic and earphones while the car was driven.
One of the rear bearings is noisey.
While the wheels were spinning I noticed that the rear drive shaft on the noisey side was wobbling up and down yet the other side was not.
The mechanic said this was nothing to worry bout. Is he right? I want to be sure before I agree to the work. I dont want to have to book it in again if the drive shaft needs replacing too.
Cheers
Andy
