hi there,
seemed like u know a lot about ecus.
can i do a straight swap a 95 or 96 wrx ecu onto my 93 wrx.
do u know if the 'pins' will be the same?
any issues which i might need to be aware of? reason is my car is only running at 0.7bar max and i have checked everything that can be checked from reading all the posts in this forum.
i thank you in advance for your kind help.

Not sure about the earlier models - all my fiddling has been with MY99/00. Some of the WRX guys I am sure will pipe in.
I would guess more likely another fault rather than the ECU though. Also how accurate is the gauge? Some of the earlier models did run quite low boost 0.8bar ish?
