Question re boost guages
#1
Hi,
I was thinking of fitting a boost guage to my MY01 and had a couple of Q's:
1, how much should I pay?
2, is it a reasonable DIY job?
3, where should I buy one from?
Thanks,
Darren.

STI gauge will cost a lot.
I went for the economy version:
Boost Gauge £24 (£12 fitting kit)- Think Automotive, 292 Worton Road, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 6EL - 0208 568 1172
(I just bought the gauge).
Then I got a cheap (£5) housing and some blue silicon tube (£6) from Merlin Motorsport, Castle Combe Circuit, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 7EX Telephone 01249 782101
Mine's mounted on the A-pillar.
Feeding the pipe through the bulkhead (grommet) was tough but I got there in the end. A couple of small screw clips secured the pipe to the gauge and the spare nipple on the inlet manifold.
