is it difficult to change my own gearbox oil? any advice on how to do it would be greatly appreciated
ps how much do i need?

it shouldnt pose too much difficulty

im sure the will be a drain plug underneith
and im quite sure there is a alan key type bolt u have to take out to fill back up, not 100% sure tho.
but i will be doing mine in the next week or so.

Don't you tip the oil back in where the dip stick comes out?

Oil is refilled at the stick....there's a drain plug on the bottom of it....silly easy.

21 mm drain plug on bottom of box fill up through dipstick tube

It's on the left hand side of the engine as you look at it from the front of the car. It's buried away down by the intercooler. You may need a bit of hose pipe and a funnel unless you've got a very steady hand!
