CUSCO LSD ? bit slippy in the wet ?
recently noticed that when wet the car seems to want to throw itself around a lot at the back like the dccd's set wrong only thing is its non dccd ?? it has a cusco diff and is a v3 sti , in the dry grips like mad and is great to drive to its full potential just a query on wether the diffs are set to work best in the dry and that its just im pushing the car a bit far for the wet ?
the rear has tein springs on the original sti dampers , uprated roll bars and the tyres are in good nick so i cant see it being the overall setup and it definately feels less useable in the wet , bearing in mind ive never used an lsd in the wet and have only used one in the dry and comparisons feel the same to the cusco one i have although i just got a bit of a shock in the wet as i nearly hit the kerb with the rear lol

What you describe is classic plate LSD operation, as one wheel looses grip the diff locks aggresively and as that send the torque to the wheel with grip, on rear wheel gets more torque than the other and trys to turn the car.
You could get the diff rebuilt with less preload or steeper ramp angles but then you loose LSD function instead - the choice is yours!
