Default 5 Spd on a V8 Sti engine - possible?

Hi
As title.
Im looking at putting a V8 Sti lump into a newage car as a track toy. I dont like the cost of the 6 SPd box which goes with the STi lump so what do I need to put a 5 Spd unit on?

Is it just flywheel and clutch?

Thanks

Clutch flywheel and starter motor. Shouldn't you already have that lot on the newage though?

I bought the car with no engine or box! Starter motor is there and think I have a flywheel hanging around for a 5 speed though

You'll need the correct size gearbox cradle too.

It will bolt straight on there will be no issue with box to engine fitment.

Yes, as long as it's not a six speed one you'll be fine.

The 5 speeds are only good to 350/400 BHP the 6spd are good to 500+! Sure you want a 5spd?
