Induction Kit Question

I'm getting hold of an APS Cool Air induction kit later and have a couple of questions...
1. It goes into the wing so does that mean the resonator has to come out? (I guess so), is there a link anywhere detailing how to remove the resonator?
2. I'm a bit concerned about the car running lean with APS + full decat, is this definately going to be the case considering the car has PPP? (does it run a little rich anyway?)

RB5Scott has one fitted to his 01 which has PPP & full decat. He found it did run lean and had to get PE to fit some gadget that provided the ability to change the mixture. i think it cost him £600ish so not a cheap upgrade all in. No doubt Scott can add the detail to this if he spots it.
