Fast Idle Problem - help required
Had a slight 'mishap' with my 94MY UK turbo recently, involving a very deep ford (over 2"), a red mist, a tow rope, an RAC recovery and a spot of bailing/drying.
To cut a long story short, the car is now back together and running fine, except for a very fast idle - 1800rpm. All other systems appear normal, including BCS operation. There are no air leaks, and no check engine lights.
Anyone got any suggestions - other than "Silly boy, don't do it again", which I've heard a few times already.......
Thanks guys

Perhaps the Idle Control Valve needs adjusting. It just to the right of the intercooler (mounted on the top of the intake manifold) and has a 3-pin plug attached to it.
It is fitted with slotted holes to allow a small amount of adjustment.
