hi guys, i've had a plated rear diff fitted to my r180 type r import, i've noticed that when goimg round corners it clonks and bangs as if somethings about to fall off, is this correct? also at slow speeds when turning the rear wheels shake pretty bad and clonks, is this normal? thanks dave

hi dunx, it doesn't feel like something is gonna break, it sounds like somethin has! lol its just very very noisy like somethin is loose and clonking like mad. maybe its normal but its not a nice noise! lol

 

My pal has an Ev* with an up-rated RS plated diff and it's atrocious, in a good way !

thanks dunx, been up to bham today in the car and the diff problem sounds really bad, you cant really ear it on the passenger side but the driver side is awful. shouldn't it be the same noise coming from either side when turning right and left of course??? i get some funny looks when pulling on and off car parks!

 

i have aplated diff in mine an it horrid i hate it it clonks an bangs an rattles an you do think is it broken

 

i am aware of them clonking and banging but they should make the same noises on both sides in my oppinion! it is starting to clonk in a straight line now too, so think somethin is not right!
