Question

Following on from the other thread, is there a simple way of avoiding the boost spikes when decatting the type UK?

Would a sports cat in the downpipe or retaining one or more of the std parts (BB or one of the mids) help prevent this? PLanning the PPP when it eventually come out anyway so no big deal keeping std bits on for now.

I would prefer not to go the way of boost controllers etc(want to keep it simple both for myself and the insurance co.)

When I sold my RB5 Kept the autometer boost gauge does anyone make a pod that would fit this in the newage motor? (would allow me to monitor boost)

Andy

Dawes device...or enlargen the hole in the restrictor you've got (on expense of spool up) - I assume that the new STi has one of those still somewhere between the turbo outlet and the wastegate solenoid.
