Default 2006 WRX Gear Box FD Ratio

Chaps,

Need a definitive answer to this one.

What is the final drive ratio on the WRX 2006 gearbox.

Or more importantly what diff do I pair it to, 3.54 or 3.7.

Cheers

Daz

Daz would it not be a final drive ratio of 3.9 with a drop gear of 1:1:1 and rear diff ratio of 3.54?

That's what I'm hoping as I have just bought an R180 3.54 diff.

But I have read a few threads (mainly on nasioc) that state the FD is 3.7 on this box for some strange reason. Ultimately I don't want to ruin the diff that I will eventually be bolting a six speed to.

Think I'm in the same boat Daz, but I also happen to have a 4.1 rear diff

I think I'm not even going to bother with this idea and just go straight to a 6 speed.]

Cheap 2006 5 speed anyone????
