It is for the gearbox oil level. Not sure exactly how to fill it, although you will need to be beneath the car, and it will probably be a case of unscrewing a bung and filling 'er up.

WARNING - the transmission oil is very thin and lightly coloured, are you REALLY sure it needs topping up!!!!!!

You'll need to get a oil can with a long spout - I think Halfords do one - and top up through dipstick tube. No need to get under the car.

Cheers
Tim

Tim is right, Halfords do the prefect funnel with a long bendy tube for topping up the gearbox. You'll need a good quality 75W/90 oil for the gearbox. I had to top up mine recently and found some Castrol synthetic at Halfords.
