hi guys anyone had the cruntchy rattle type noise when changing from 4th to 5th fairly quickly??? doesnt do it on a slow change and only them them 2 gears, any ideas much appreciated ta!

 

Got a similar problem with mine, noticed it on down shifts at first but now does it on quick upshifts. Only affects 4th gear on mine, I think it's the syncro..

 

I have the same problem with my 5th gear,usually the staked nut untightens on the shaft in the gearbox,im re-tightening and staking the nut this week,strip the back of the gearbox and the extension case and you'll see the nut,see if it has un-tightened itself,if so hopefully you wont need any syncros if you aint been crunching it much.worth a try I say.
