HI

I have a rear diff temp light on my hawkeye sti spec d
very intermittent comes on then goes off then starts flickering

any ideas what this is to do with????

Well I'd have to guess that it is coming on because the rear diff oil temperature is too high. That may be because it has run short of oil at some point [ a leak maybe ? ]

Or, that the sender itself is playing up.

You can see it on the rear case of the diff looking forwards under the car from the back bumper. It is fitted in either the filler or drain plug for the rear diff, can't just remember which. Just check to see if the wiring looks like it might been damaged somehow or is not securely attached.
