Hello all,
When turning the wheels on my 99 wrx on full lock or pulling in a parking space at slow speeds- i get a loud banging noise from from front of car-i have been told this is normal and its the diff working-just wanted to double check as i always get loads of help from this wonderful website,
Car goes very well when driving normally-but just this issue is causing me slight worry....

hi mate,mine used to do this had a new centre diff fitted problem solved.

 

Had similar issue on my previous 99 GT, it also turned out to be a defect center diff. Nothing under normal driving.

i had mine done at subaru4you in newbury topmen great service well worth the drive.
