Hi All,

We were on track yesterday in the scooby, and boy its great fun (will post some video's up soon)

Anyway, towards the end of the day, we started to loose 4th gear on down shift (would go into 4th fine going up the gears)

Tried double clutching it, heel/toe didnt work either....

Is this a common fault with the gearboxes? What does it sound like to everyone else? Syncro's?

Anyone got an idea of costs to fix? would it be cheaper to get a recon or second hand?

The cars is an 93 import wrx running 310bhp

Another question... whats the difference between the uk and import boxes? this is our track car, so which would be better for track?
