2003 Blob 52,500mls went with a bang,now have no 2nd gear,has anybody had their gear box reconditioned or recommend a good place l can take it,is it worth buying a 2nd box £500 36k or getting mine reconditioned, I'm in Bolton,I can reemove the box myself.

 

I have had a few go mate, API sorted me out everytime. Not worth paying £500 for a second hand one when for not much more you can get a recon box with warrenty from them.

If i buy a recon box do they take the old one in px? Where's API?

 

I'm not 100% sure about the part ex if it's being delivered, API is in Banbury iirc, speak to david tomorrow and if your happy you will prob have a box by Wednesday morning, very good with delivery.
