gearboxes

what power can I expect my UK classic gearbox to handle (assuming everything else, bottom ed etc etc is capable of it)

and what are my best options to upgrade it?

standard uk box in good condition is ok for about 340 ish...... 6spd is a good upgrade, but not cheap..... it's that or straight cut, which is even dearer...LOL!!
