advice needed
hey guys honest answer is it wise to try changing the clutch on my classic i have ramps jacks ect and probably all the tools needed i know the basics of cars but have never done anything major i have a exedy clutch and flywheel to go in and gotta take out a hks d plated clutch and flywheel so many people on here have said go for it in another thread but want help and advice before making the decision im of work all this week so i have the time but want to know what you guys would do regards shaun

yeah i feel the same cause labour is expensive,but to be honest i think ill just keep saving cause not quite sure whats involved! i think most decent mechanics charge for about 4 hours labour! thats with all the proper gear!

i know what u mean,i keep saying to myself it will all be worth it in the end! get saving mate,im one to think if your gonna get it done then have it done right,if the garage f***s it up,then they can put it right at their cost!not ours!

very true mate very true lol just seems like our cars are never done with lol mines already been of the road for 2 months ;-( only just got the clutch and flywheel at a cost of 500 notes

i so know that feeling,upstairs under my bed i have vf35 turbo,walbro pump,denso plugs,exedy oe clutch all waiting to be fitted and still aint got the money to purchase flywheel yet along with all the labour money!

i was worried about doing my bottomend rebuild, i to have knowledge ov cars but never done a scooby. in the end i went for it, not that tricky really and when you have the help of all the lads on here what have been there, done that. its ready to go bk in all in 2 weekends.

i dont know man a couple of guys have pm'd me saying what could go wrong like bolts snapping things bending ect kinda put the woolies up me lol

dont do it mate!! its just to scary just keep thinking if u f***k it up,you will have to pay a garage to sort it anyway,so just put in straight in the garage! not worth the messin about and the hassle!
